The route
This verified loop leaves The Gap for Mount Nebo and Mount Glorious, descends Northbrook Parkway to Lake Wivenhoe and returns through Fernvale.

Gateway to the Range
Begin at The Gap , a western suburb of Brisbane where the city meets the D'Aguilar Range. Fill the tank at the BP on Waterworks Road and grab a coffee at Blackboard Coffee. Mt Nebo Road begins at the roundabout , the fun starts immediately.

Technical Rainforest Bends
Mt Nebo Road is 15 km of tight, technical bends through subtropical rainforest. The canopy closes overhead, dappled light plays across the road surface, and the corners come in rapid succession. The road climbs 500 metres through a landscape of strangler figs, tree ferns, and king parrots.
