The route

This verified day route crosses from Glossop over Snake Pass to Ladybower Reservoir, then continues through Winnats Pass, Mam Tor and Monsal Head. The inherited point order has been corrected to match the actual drive.

Fog, wind, cyclists, walkers and winter closures are common. Keep a safe stopping distance and use only designated parking.

April to October offers the best daylight, but rain is possible at any time. Check Traffic England and Peak District National Park notices before departure.
