Utah Highway 12 is frequently cited as the single best driving road in America, and this route pack builds a 4-5 day adventure around it. The route connects Capitol Reef and Bryce Canyon National Parks through some of the most otherworldly terrain on earth. red-rock canyons, petrified forests, and the famous Hogback, where the road runs along a narrow ridge with sheer drop-offs on both sides.

But this pack goes beyond Byway 12. We extend south to Zion National Park via US 89 and SR 9, creating a Red Rock Grand Tour that takes in four of Utah's Mighty Five national parks. The geological diversity is staggering. from the white and orange hoodoos of Bryce Canyon to the soaring red walls of Zion, every mile reveals a new chapter in 200 million years of earth history.
