Skyline Boulevard (Highway 35) runs along the crest of the Santa Cruz Mountains, offering a 40-mile ridge road with views of the Pacific to the west and Silicon Valley to the east. Combined with the connecting roads that drop down to the coast. Highway 84 through La Honda, Highway 9 through the redwoods, and the legendary Alice's Restaurant junction. this is one of the finest driving loops in Northern California.

The road surface is excellent, the curves are well-sighted, and the mix of open ridge sections and forested descents keeps the driving varied and engaging. On weekends, you will share the road with cyclists and fellow enthusiasts. Alice's Restaurant at the junction of Skyline and La Honda Road has been a gathering point for Bay Area car and motorcycle culture for decades.
