Scotland's roads are extraordinary
The Scottish Highlands are the most dramatic landscape in Britain and the single-track roads are an adventure in themselves. The Stable's route through Glencoe, Skye, and the North Coast was absolutely magnificent.
Wild, remote, and utterly beautiful
This route took us to places that felt like the edge of the world. The rally points at remote lochs and mountain passes were breathtaking. The whisky distillery stops were a wonderful bonus. Pack waterproofs!
The NC500 and so much more
Everyone talks about the NC500 but The Stable's route goes deeper — into the islands, along forgotten coastal roads, and through glens that time forgot. The roadbook's weather and midges advice was invaluable.
